This position is not for the faint hearted, an extrovert personality with a keen sense of confidant is required. Microphones are utilized to attract the attention of the general public in order to persuade them to play your game. While playing you are responsible for encouraging the patron to win his prize. For this reason you will need to speak fluent English, multi task orientated and focus on customer satisfaction. You get water games, ball games, gun games – all in all – FUN GAMES, which you will assemble, and disassemble at the end of the "spot" ( the town or city the fair is playing in), and operate while everything is running. You will be the one responsible for handing out the prizes to the winner, and when everything closed down for the night, you will have to re-stock the game so it's ready for tomorrow. As with any job, you will sometimes have to attend meetings, so everybody is on par with the day's schedule, including break times and periodic re-stocking of the game during operating hours, which will sometimes have to be done in YOUR break time.
Please ensure that you meet the following requirements; you must be drug and alcohol free. You must be clean and well groomed. Since you are going to the United States of America, you must have a firm understanding of the English language, which includes speaking and writing. Being fit will count as a plus, as you will sometimes work in severe weather conditions, lift heavy objects, and stand on your feet for hours at a time. Being an extrovert, reliable and dependable will count in your favour. Oh, and you can count money.... can't you?
